Hello. My not so friendly nurse at RE's just dropped a bomb in my lap. She told me that FSH level was 14.9. Last one in Jan was 12.0. She stated that was sl elevated-NO ONE ever told me that in January. I have been doing IUI, Clomid with IUI, and now injectibles for the first time this month. The lovely nurse suggested that I go as quickly as possible to IVF (which my insurance won't cover until I have IUI with injectibles). We have an appeal into the insurance co because my RE thinks IUI with injectibles causes multiples at a higher rate. BUT-here's what confuses me....I ovulate every month on my own-Clomid has caused 4 follicles on 2 seperate occasions now, at the lowest dose. Last time I took Clomid-3 cycles later I still had 2 follicles, with no meds at all. So, the nurse also told me that my infetility clinic WON'T DO IVF with FSH over 14.9. SO what the heck?????? I am so confused and upset....I know I am rambling. My questions is...has anyone had this experience? Does the Clomid affect your FSH level? Any advice or experience would be helpful. Thanks ladies....
