Just curious, how many days other ladies took Follistim before they started to feel like it was working.

I never "felt" like it was working. I never had any symptoms at all, in fact, until my last couple of days before IVF egg retrieval on SUPER high doses, when finally I felt a little bloated (but nothing major). The only way I knew it was working was by E2 levels and U/S. Good luck!

I agree...I was very slow to respond on Folistem (injections for 9 days). At the end, when there were two viable follicles I felt as though my abdoment was heavy, but that was it. No other symptoms except feeling as though I was needing to get a larger size pants!

I started feeling bloated and had pains in my ovaries on Day 7 of Follistim.

I took Follistim for 7 days. Towards day 4 I felt very bloated but I had 30 plus follicles. The only way to know if it is truly working is E2 and ultrasounds.

I had my u/s today. I have 14 follicles. Yea!! It is working!!
I go back Saturday for another u/s then ER on Monday or Tuesday.
Does each follicle have an egg in it? Or do you just hope the follicle has an egg?

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
