just wondered if any 1 could tell me wot to expect wen i visit a fertility specialist in 3 weeks?its because of recurrent miscariages..i understand i mite not be tested that day but wot do the tests i nvolve?will it be blood tests etc??thanks in advance 4 any replies..x

The first visist is pretty basic. They take a personal medical history and a fertility history. They will ask you a lot of questions. Then you will discuss a plan of how your treatments are going to go. Usually they don't do the tests right away. They will do the test based on your cycle. They will do CD 3 bloodwork and probably a vaginal ultrasound. You will probably have an HSG done to check for any tubal issues. Then bested on al that testing they will determine if other tests need to be done or if you can proceed with treatment. I hope this helps some. GL!

I have recurrent m/c and they took my blood. I sent in my history before my appt. then they did a saline U/S. I had to have two and they found scar tissue in my uterus they are hoping this is it. I have to have a D&C and hopefully it will stop the m/c. Goodluck

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
