I HAD A QUESTION, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A BLOCKED FALLOPIAN TUBE (PER A VERY HORIBLE TEST) wHEN I WENT TO HAVE SURGERY--IT WAS NO ONGER BLOCKED AND NOW I AM PAYING FOR A THOSAND DOLLAR SURGERY FOR NOTHING. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN?

I thought I had a damaged tube based on my X-ray, but when I had surgery, they couldn't find anything wrong...so I understand. You just have to look at the bright side - at least they didn't find a terrible problem once they got inside.

I was diagnosed with a blocked tube from a fibroid. I was booked into have an op, freaked out & cancelled it. That was 9mths ago. I always think to myself maybe I'll have another test & see if it's still blocked then go & have the op. & not wuss out. I never thought that when they look for it it may not be there? I have been trying positive thinking to unblock mine- I know it sounds airy fairy but I think that the mind is the most powerful healer of all. I don't think I was too much help to you- your situation is a bummer. I think 'melh' is right, it would be worse if they found something there which would cost more money in the end I suppose? Your entry certainly opened my eyes thought- thanks.

i KEEP HEARING THAT THE TEST UNBLOCKED IT--NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK. POSITIVE THINKING IS VERY A VERY POWERFUL THING, MY SISTER MADE A CYST THEY THOUGHT WAS CANCEROUS IN THER UTERUS DISAPPEAR AND THE DOCTORS WERE BAFFLED.

I had two HSGs and the first test said I was blocked on the left side. That test was also very painful. I had the test done again over a year later and it was all clear. That test didn't hurt at all. My second doctor believed the first test was done incorrectly, but who knows, maybe I was healed! I'm just glad they are clear now. It's too bad you had to have the surgery to find out. Best wishes!

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
