Hi everyone,
I just joined this community today and already can't believe how many people are going through this. We spoke to our doctor yesterday and he used to term "concerned." We'll be starting our 4th IVF cycle in a week. He suggested genetic testing, which of course, is not covered by health insurance and well run another $4K. Every cycle is $3,500 out of pocket, which means this time around it will be almost $8K. We just can't afford the gentic testing.
When do you know when to stop? Howe many times do you roll the dice? Is our doctor trying to tell us something that we don't want to admit??

You may want to ask your doctor a few more questions before you go ahead with the tests, like "does he think there may be a genetic issue."
I wish you luck with what ever you do and know we are here for you.
I will be starting my 5th IVF cycle in about a month, I have been on all different meds and I am extremely lucky that my insurance co. covers unlimited cycles, so I said in the beginning I would only do 4, but here I am going onto #5..I figure it has to work sooner or later right? And I have never done genetic testing because I got 4,5,6 and 7 (not in that order)eggs, so there weren't enough to test
