Hi! Im new here and I have a few questions that maybe you guys could help me with. My husband and I started trying for a baby in February and I have always had irregular cycles so I assumed we'd have a little trouble but I never imagined it would be what it is now. After 4 months of waiting for my body to ovulate on its own so that we could try, I finally caved and went to my doctor. She put me on clomid and my first month did not work. The second month worked but I ovulated on CD 19 which my doctor said was too late. She put me on the next dose of 150mg this month to try to get my body to ovulate by CD 14. Well CD 14 and 15 have come and gone and I am still not getting a positive on an ovulation kit. My question is, what is the success rate for later ovulation? Is CD 19 really a bad thing when I've never had a normal cycle? I'm really upset that the day I was given has come and gone and we're now starting our 8th month of trying with no success and lots of disappointment. Im just wondering what the latest day could be that I could ovulate before the egg starts to break down? Thank you in advance to anyone that may be able to answer my questions.
