I just got my final BFN from ICSI and it was our last round. Our fertility issues are as a result of my husband having had a vasectomy for over 15 years and then reversing it with no success. They were able to use a biopsy to retreive and freeze some sperm from his testicles (TMI) and that is what we used in the ICSI. I have no identified fertility problems so they feel that the lack of success was due mostly to the sperm. Our only other option is to do artificial insemination from a donor. Is anyone going through this? If so, how did your husband deal with the issues of the child not genetically being his, etc.? Also, we haven't even looked into this yet. Anyone know the costs of doing this? I would love any advice from anyone on this issue.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Does you DH have a brother you can use as a donor -this way the child will be gentically related to him.
Before moving onto Donor Sperm, we met with a psychologist as required by our RE. It helped us recognize that even though there is not a genetic link to DH, it is still his CHILD and he is involved with the process as soon as you are pregnant.
We have now moved onto IVF but opted to continue using donor sperm.
IUI's are definitely cheaper than IVF. Our insurance covered 50% of the cost on IUI's on upto 9 IUI's. 6 unmedicated & 3 medicated. We opted to pay for our meds out of pocket since it was cheaper at a specialty pharmacist (we use schraft's). All of our IUI's except for 1 has been injectibles.
