Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
The first month on it I had every side effect on the book...hot flashes, weight gain, headaches...Now I am only battling weight gain.
The process of taking Clomid is usually taken orally days 5-9 of your cycle. How much you take is determined by your doctor. You can take anywhere from 50 mg-200mg I think. If I don't get pregnant this month, we will see a specialiist. Most doctors won't perscribe Clomid for longer than 6 months. Some will do more. Mine does 3 months so a specialist has a few months to work with.
If you don't ovulate regularly it, this would be something to discuss with your doctor. Good luck to you.
1. It worked in the fact that I ovulated and became pregnant my 2nd month on it. The pregnancy, however was tubal, so we had to terminate.
2. Side effects for me: weight gain, irritabiliy, and mood swings. I think it made me break out, too. One side effect that *can* occur is ovarian hyperstimulation, basically it kicks your ovaries into overdrive and they become covered with large cysts that can cause some serious complications. Google it for more info (or message me).
3. They start you at 50mg typically and see how you respond. If you ovulate, you can take it for up to 6 cycles, then you take a break. You take a pill on the days of your cycle specified (I start Day 5) and take one pill a day for 5 days. You typically ovulate in 7-10 days. If you're over 35, they typically go three cycles, then try to add another med to it.
That's about it. Take care, and email me if you want any more info!
