anyone get pregnant with only one follie?

yes i have read more than one post where women have gotten pregnant with just one, one is all it takes.good luck.

oh question! Do you think after I do the Ovidrel tonight that it could make more follicles? MAybe a glimmer of hope. Rachelj i hope I get the same result you did, i hope one is good for me too.

rembmer, all it takes is one.
My understanding is the Ovidrel/ HCG shots just release the eggs from the folicles - so it will release all of them, if you have more than one, even if they are not big or mature enough yet.

It does only take one..you never know!!

I know with me, I took follistim the second time and it produced more, but you still never know..just try and have faith.

I am hoping so, because we only ended up with 1 follicle this month as well. They upped my meds and my cycle ended up being a bust this month. I went in today to do the IUI, but they were concerned since my estrogen dropped the day before. The did another ultrasound 1st and it turns out I already ovulated on Friday. So no reason to do the IUI. Our only hope is we BD on Thursday night. At the time they think I ovulated I only had one follicle at 16. The never developed any bigger than that.

Don't forget that 'dif' got pregnant with one follie AND had to do it with an IUI using frozen sperm!!

The ovridrel shot is only taken right at OV. Other meds like clomid is what can create multiple follies. Keep positive b/c women w/o fertility problems only produce 1 a month, so if that is your only problem, then you'll be good.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
