Has anyone else had their doctor recommend anti-depressants to them? When I was at the doctor's office for a yearly check up (general practioner), he recommended I take anti-depressants. Yes, I am extremely depressed, but I know why and don't feel like I can be "cured" with a pill. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. Note: I did cry almost the entire check-up after he asked how I was feeling. Maybe he just thought I was loony...
