Hi There, I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone is familar with HCG levels. I had a 5 day transfer (of 2 x blast) and on day 14 (9 days after transfer) my HCG was 240.
They seem to think it would be a single pregnancy but I thought it may have been two. I go back in a week for another blood test.
Thanks.

my HCG level at day 12 after a transfer was 164, and my day 14 level was 361. i had triplets for a couple a year ago, and the first HCG number was in the high 400's. it is possible that you are having twins, but i would still think possible a really strong singleton. good luck.

Thanks for your adivce Beckb, can you also explain (if you know or anyone else out there does), when people talk post transfer ie: you mentioned your level at day 14 after transfer was 361 - is that after the transfer on day 5 or 3 (depending which menthod you opt for) or does that mean 14 days from when you had the retreival for eggs and they were inseminated? Thanks bit confused!

i had a day 5 transfer with frozen blastocysts. the first blood test is 12 days after embryo transfer, then the second one 48 hours later. sorry for the confusion, if there is anymore, send me a message, i will be happy to talk with you about it. i go in for an ultrasound this friday, so i still don't know if it is only one or two, just crossing my fingers for this couple.

They (doc's) havent really said too much about my results so Im not sure what to make of it all. Hope to speak to you again soon. M

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
