So, I just finished our first IVF cycle to get a BFN. Here's a quick recap and my question. Male Factor only, 24 eggs retrieved-14 mature, 8 fertilized-5 grade A 8 cell embryos day 3- 2 transfered, and then only 1 made it to blasto for freezing. My question is why a 3 day transfer? It's obvious to me that the 2 transferred quit growing. Is there a true benefit to a 5 day transfer or am I just super angry and grasping at straws? Any light shed on this subject will help me to gather my questions for the failure follow up meeting I'm about to enjoy.
