I should ovulate this month between the 17th & 19th. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can give it the best try possible? What are some things that y'all do? Besides meds & treatments. (any specific diets?, positions?, vitamins?) I just want to try something different, because what I have been doing apparently isn't working. lol! It's worth a try. Thanks & good luck to everyone!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
1. Evening Primrose Oil - a supplement found in vitamin section in local grocery store.
2. Pre-Seed - non toxic lube meaning it won't kill sperm. Must order online.
3. Robitussin/Mucinex - choose one and take daily to help with cervical mucus, helps sperm swim.
4. Best position is missionary with your butt slightly elevated (use a pillow). Woman on top and doggie style are the WORST positions for conception. (sorry maybe TMI - but those are the facts)
5. After BD, stay elevated on pillow(s) with legs in the air for 20 min.
6. Progesterone Cream - must order online. Use after ovulation and for duration of 2ww. Supposed to help with implantation.
7. Acupunture 1x week - look for one that specializes in infertility. Also helps with stress.
8. If you aren't doing this already, but a digital thermometer and chart your Basal Body Temperature. I suggest fertilityfriend.com - it's a great tool for charting and has lots of helpful info too. It costs a little, not bad tho, and it was indispensible to me.
9. Ovulation Predictor Strips - order online. They help to pinpoint your "window" of when to BD.
10. Don't smoke - contributes to infertility like you wouldn't believe!
11. No alcohol - 1 or 2 is fine just don't get consistently sloshed, it hurts fertility.
12. No caffeine for women - especially during 2ww. But DH can have all he wants - it energizes sperm!
13. Eat organic as much as possible with very little red meat.
14. Drink a lot of water, staying hydrated helps your CM (cervical mucus) plus it's just healthy.
15. Exercise - but don't run or do high intensity aerobics especially during 2ww. I've heard it can harm the uterus.
hope something here helps you. :)
Thanks for the posting on sexual positions! I always wondered about that, but I just couldn't bring it up to my doctor. It seems that we have bigger issues than that, but it is good to know. Let's just say, we are definitely doing it wrong!
