Im new at this...my hubby and I have been trying for over a year now. We have tried Clomid for two months but have been unsuccessful. It seems that everyone around us is able to get pg but us. I want advice...should we continue with clomid? Should we try other infertilty meds? We are feeling hopeless...any suggestions?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Are you seeing a fertility specialist for this? That would be my other suggestion.
I know what you are going through.
I was on 25mg of clomid for 4 months and my cycles were still a little off. My Dr. increased my clomid to 50mgs and added Metformin 1000mgs. I have heard from several Dr.s that Metformin is a good choice when dealing with infertility. Since the metformin was added, my cycles have been regular, cramping before is much better. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and my folicule was 22.9! Which I am told is excellent. Unfortunately DH wasn't in town to take advantage, but we know that the drugs together are working. Oh and my last progesterone test was 16. Before that I was 7-12 and on average 7.
