when you make a police statemnet, how much detail do they need at that moment? talking to my youngest son yesterday, he and 1 of his cousinsare going to go on saturday to the police station. he said though, they are not comfortable telling a cop the details of exactly what happened. they will give a brief outline only. is this ok? what do they need/ what are your experiences with the police in this matter? they did go to the station once before and a cop treated them like they were lying because of there age, when they told them why they were there so they left.
