Hi guys. It's been 2 1/2 weeks since my abdominal hyster. The first full week was no problem... was doing things I couldn't do b4 the surgery b/c of pain. I'm not really overdoing myself though, I know my limitations and stop when I feel I need to. The other night, I was lying on the couch... I got some weird sharp pains in the mid section of my stomache, then I noticed tingling around my incision... not to long after, I didn't feel my lower stomache at all. Even after 2 days, my whole lower stomache is numb (completely numb). I can't even tell when I have to go to the bathroom. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know if there's nerves in there that could have been severed? I don't want to call the doc if this is normal during healing... It didn't happen after my c-section though,,, a little scary? Any thoughts???

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
