Hi, I had a hysterectomy operation performed in british cancer hospital. It was total hysterectomy i was not given a choice because i had a huge fibroid that scans had revealed to be cancerous..i had a PET scan which takes up radiation and glucose to mark out any cancers, after op doc told me it was a cancerous fibroid..can usually tell this with colour texture size etc. I go back to clinic for follow up and oncologist tells me biopsy reveals it to be benign..my head is in turmoil can not believe it...but what i wanted to ask..its been six weeks and i am still getting abdominal discomfort and pain is this normal
