Well I'm getting ready to have a complete Hysterectomy (both ovaries are being left) at the end of this month. I'm a little afraid of the out come. I have heard alot of bad along with alot of good. I think the thing that worries me the most is sex. I have a pretty decent sex drive now but I'm wondering if it will decrease afterwards? I have dealt with pain and abnormal periods for about 9 years now and I will be glad to get this taken care of FINALLY. My signifigant other is worried and I don't know how to ease his mind. Does any one know anything about the HERS Foundation? He wants me to call and talk with a counsler there. Im trying to do as much research as I can before the day of surgery. My pre-op is in 6 days I have plenty of questions for my Dr. but I would also like to hear about other's outcomes after surgery.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
