I went a long time before being diagnosed with Hashimoto\'s disease, which, I\'m learning, is pretty common. Anyway, in the meantime I\'ve had many other problems that I think were exacerbated by my hypothyroidism. A few years ago I had mono and it got so bad it caused hepatitis (non-infectious). Less than a year after that, my gallbladder failed. No gallstones, just an infected useless gallbladder. I\'ve also had bleeding stomach ulcers and pleurisy. And all before the age of 26! Of course, I\'ve also gained lots and lots of weight. Has this or something similar happened to anyone else?
