Do not let not having insurance stop you from starting meds. Ask your doctor if he has any free samples to give you. FInd out what amount you need and write to the manufacturer. sometimes they will send out free meds.
if you do not attend to this asap then things will get worse and so will your symptoms.
I have to deal with being out of breath, brain fog, always tired. Not everyone gets the same symptoms so dont get yourself worried. things are different for each person.
I am not sure what your sitution is, but the thyroid is important. Do not let this go untreated. good luck to you!
I have found that my insurance co-pay was only $3-$4 less than if I went ahead just paid the Non-insurance rate.
You can buy medicine without insurance as long as you have a prescription.
Also, Wal-Mart has a national ad about all sorts of really cheap priced meds. Your prescription just might be on the list.

I don't know if you know this, but thyroid medication is one of the cheapest medications on the market $15.00 a month and if you have a Walmart, or Target you can get it for a $4.00 co-pay per month.
If you can get the doctor to give you a prescription, or call it in to a Target or Walmart or even another pharmacy, you can shop around for prices, but it is very reasonable.
Good luck,
Kathy
