Hi, I've had an over active thyroid for about 18months now, found out because i was having very fast heart rythmn and ended up in hospital, then after a series of test found out i was over active,the doctor was good she put me on propylthiouracil (p.t.u for short) because i was tring for a baby and had had 3 three miscarriges in the past, anyway things were good, but the last few months i've been really down carnt even get dressed in the morning and crying all the time,I told my doctor and have been put on antidepressents today,is it a comman thing with thyroid troubles
