I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism but, never really found out the cause. I feel like I switch between hypo and hyper at times, and from what I understand, that is a sign of hashimotos. I just want to know which types of tests I would need to figure this out and if the treatment I am on (levothyroxine) would change at all as a result of having it? Thankfully I feel pretty good so I really hope that isn't the case. I just feel like its importanat to know whats causing it. Sorry if I am a little all over the place I just woke up and its early :)
