I think I did this wrong at first and responded to anothers problem. anyhow, i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 2 weeks ago. the symptoms first began about 6 weeks ago...extreme lethargy, no motivation, extreme swelling and pain in mp fingers and horibble depression, missed period, etc. At first thought i was pregnant as there had to be some rational explanation, but was not. Finally my doctor ran the tests and it was positive. During this time I also had bronchitis and the flu so it has been literal hell. I have only been taking the 88mg of synthroid for about 5 days. Jut to give some brief history i have been to the best tx centers and have finally been properly diagnosed with adhd. there is some depression as it is co-morbid with adhd but nothing like I have experienced latley. One minute i am uncontrollably sobbing feeling so hopeless that i do not want to exist and then i am fine. this happens all day long and i feel like i am loosing it. i hope this medicine starts working fast as i have not worked in 6 weeks and still cant get out of bed until about 2pm (and that is with a lot of stimulant for the adhd in me). I have always been a morning person. Also have been to the hospital on 2 occasions in past 2 weeks for insomnis. last time was bfore xmas and lasted thru xmas day with enough drugs to put a horse to sleep but not me. tonight i am going on 2nd night without sleep. i am not manic...i know this...believe me i was a therapist plus have been to many centers for a correct diagnosis and i want to sleep. the depression and fatigue are bothering me the most and no one understands...people say just make yourself get up and go to the gym.. Believe me it takes everything out of me to take a shower...then rest before i can even dry off, then makeup, then rest...u get the idea..i feel like i am 80 and dying. Hope not to long and hope it makes sense..sorry its partly the adhd and the lack of proper sleep. Also plan to go to psychiatrist tom and find a great endocronologist. thanks for letting me ramble...obviously i have had no one to talk to about this or that understands. I do have friends who have this but there symptoms were mild and tx worked within 2 weeks. Just desperate. Anything would be helpful..thanx

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
My ENT sent me for more tests last week...one where they had me lie back in a chair, with blacked out goggles on so I couldn't see while they administered water into my ears one at a time ( first warm, then room-tempurature, then cold) while they video taped my eyes and asked me questions to determine how cognizant I was... This test went HORRIBLY. They were about 20 seconds or so into...
