I spoke with my doctor today and she agreed to try me on Armour Thyroid. I've been on Levothroid or Synthroid forever and just don't feel good. She asked me why I wanted to switch and I told her why. I also asked her if she'd check my Cortisol levels to see if I have Adrenal fatigue, she is going to test me for that. I have to have thyroid bloodwork again six weeks after I switch to the Armour. She said she was going to start me on a low dose (30). I'm on 125mcg of Levothroid Mon-Fri. and 137mcg Sat+Sun. I'm hoping to see some improvement.
