I was really lucky this year. For my Birthday, my sister-in-law gave me a manacure. I had never had one before. Now I'm a little obsessed. I've noticed that my fingernails are really brittle. They have ridges and they peal very easily. Now, I am at a "therapeutic" TSH level currently, but I still have these problems. I don't know what to think. Is it me, or is it the Hashimoto's? Anyone else have the same problem or have advice?

I have Hashimotos and brittle nails are definitely a symptom of it. The doc put me on prenatal vitamins because my hair and nails were so bad. They seemed to help a lot. Good Luck!
