I do not have diabetes. I don't know if I have hypoglycemia, although the other day, I came across a site that scored me as having hypoglycemia. Anyway, I haven't talked to my dr' yet (although I left a message for her). I did have a fasting blood taken and my number was 109 (something like that)..so it was a little high. She told me to come back in about 6 months to recheck. Since then, I found the site about hypoglycemia (reactive hypoglycemia). Maybe I am just not eating right and it's nothing to do with hypoglycemia. Anyway, I called my doctor. I asked for a glucose tolerance test (since seeing this site). Haven't heard back from her. Is this something that I can do on my own without having a glucose tolerance test (just checking before I eat, and after I eat). Or is that not good? And if I do, what do I buy? I heard that glucose tolerance tests are not good after all, because they bring on the hypoglycemia. Don't want that.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
