Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.

Hi Im new here. Its nice to see other fans of Web MD etc. I sympathize with those who steer clear of the medical sites. I have always had a general lack of energy and stamina. I suppose that kind of fatigue over the years sets the mind to looking for answers on the web and elsewhere. This search seems to rise naturally out of experience and skepticism about medicine and how far medical research has yet to go to understand the human body.
