Endo is going to start lowering my dose of Meth next week. Am wondering what to expect, like do symptoms reappear as my body gets used to the lower dose? etc.
Can any of you seasoned vets who have gone through that give me some insight as to what you experienced? I have no idea what to expect!
THANKS! Karen

I went through that too. My endo kept increasing my dose and went too far at 20 mg/day. He then cut it in half to 10 mg/day. After 6 weeks at 20 mg I was feeling the effects of "hypothyroid" and was very tired. At the lower dose I actually felt much better. The change in dose is very slow to take effect in your body, it could take weeks, so you may not even notice the difference. I did not. Hope that helps and good luck getting to the right dose.

I started on 30 mgs a day and felt so great and energetic after 3 weeks. I stayed on this dose for 2 months. My blood tests came back normal so my endo cut me down to 15 mgs a day. I am much more tired now--but still I'm better than when I was sick. I can't imagine cutting the dose I'm on now. It's been a month.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
