I went to endo yesterday for the first time, I really liked him. Basically he gave me 3 options, stay on pTU and in 2 or 3 years it might burn out the hot nodules I have. Or get RAI treatment, or surgery. Said it is completely up to me. I'm thinking I'll stay on the PTU for a few more months anyway and see how I feel at that point. He will repeat bloodwork in a month, said its close to normal now, but he also wants to check for Graves disease, but I might not have Graves, it may just be coming from the nodules, since I have several. Does anyone have any advice for me as far as long term use of the PTU? Any experience like mine? Thanks in advance. Bengalgirl

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
