My Dad has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. He is 77 years old. He had a shunt implanted in early March 2007. Two days after the shunt was put in, he began to vomit. The vomiting has continued, on average, about every 5 or 6 days. He may vomit once or twice in the day. He takes Zophram and this usually takes care of it but this is certainly not normal. He has had a CAT scan and was told by the neurosurgeon that the shunt is functioning normally. Has anyone had any experience with this symptom following having a shunt implanted? Any info would be appreciated

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
