I have hydrocephalus. No biggie. I passed out a few weeks ago from dehydration. I passed out not once, but twice. Once was at church and I landed really hard on the right side of my head. My shunts are on that side. I also passed out one more time in the hospital and again landed on my right side, but this time it was a tile floor. My shunts were really sore. I had headaches all the 3 days I was in the hospital. The docs did a CT and a shunt series. All was well. I was sent home with strict orders to drink a lot. It's been a while and my headaches have worsened to the point where I cannot lay down, therefore, I can't sleep. I had a follow up appointment on April 28th and I told the pediatrician about the headaches. He checked my ICP through my eyes. No alarm. He checked my balance. It was pretty shakey. He called my NS and consulted with him. My NS was fine with just seeing me during my scheduled yearly appt in July. I have lost so much sleep and the headaches are excruciating! I now have absolutely no appetite whatsoever! Do I need to go to the ER or do I just need to make an earlier appt with my NS? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
