Hi, I'm almost 18 years old and I've had hydrocephalus since I was born. These past few months, I've been having ear pain on my right side (the side my 2 shunts are on). I have 2 vp shunts. I've had 15 shunt revisions. My question is... Is this a sign of a malfunction? I have absolutely no other symptoms at all and I just saw my neurosurgeon for my annual neuro check up and I forgot to tell him about it. I've never heard of this being a symptom of a malfunction, but there have been weirder things happen...
