I just found out a few days ago I had hydrocephalus. I am still in a state of shock and I need some help coping. I indeed went to my school's guidance counselor, and the shorter version of my story is on my 'About Me.' I told my friends two days after finding out. They have been so supportive. Last night, I informed my softball team. Due to my condition, i cannot play sports or phys. ed. I was surprised to see kids who I never really talked to tearing up. I don't know how to deal with all of this. In three days, I have been to three doctors. I need surgery. It has an 80% chance, my neurosurgeon said. (ETV) Does anyone have any advice for me?
