I was diagnosed with gw HPV in September 07. The small wart or cluster was treated with t.a. I don't remember side effects (besides a little itchiness after the application); however, the t.a. took four months (I went to see my gyn about 6 times over the course of four months) before I was allowed to stop treatment. Fast forward to December 08. Found two small white warts in the exact same place. Went for treatment a week later. The doctor used the same acid and the gw was gone after two days (fell off, along with some skin)MY QUESTION IS HAS ANYONE ELSE EVERE HAD WHAT APPEARS TO BE OPEN SORES WHERE THE WARTS WERE AFTER THE TRICHLORACETIC ACID TREATMENT? I don't have insurance and cant afford to run back to the doctor if this is normal. Please help.
