HPV Support Group

Human papillomavirus is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect the skin and mucous membranes of humans. More than 100 different human papillomavirus (HPV) types have been characterized. Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named. HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted environmentally or by casual skin-to-skin contact.

Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE)

Has anyone tried GSE for hpv? I have read in some places either applying it topically or taking it in juice or some other liquid helps with warts and hpv. Any experience or info is appreciated.

When I was first diagnosed, I did a TON of research and GSE was one of the supplements that was thought to help. I bought a bunch of supplements, including GSE. I took a lot of the supplements I bought on a regular basis, but I never ended up taking that one. I think because it could have interacted with a prescription medication.

I would recommend taking it for a while and seeing how things go. Good luck! :)
