I have a question. I had HPV that causes cervical dysplasia about 12 years ago and my paps have been normal since then. Now I have one of the strains that cause warts and have been getting the acid treatments from my doctor to remove them. I keep reading that its harder to rid your body of if you have another STI. Is the herpes virus considered another STI....some places I read it is and others it isn't. I have had cold sores off and on since I was a kid, not often but maybe once or twice a year. Will that make it harder to get rid of the hpv virus that is causing warts??
