Hello,
I had an abnormal papsmear in April of 2007. Results were LSIL CIN 1 mild HPV. My doctor recommended a colpscopy. So we did that spot was at 1:30 and the results came back the same. She said that we need to repeat the papsmear in 3-6 months. Well I went in for my repeat pap 11/15/07. The spot had moved to 2:00 she dabbed the area with that solution for a while. So she requested the HPV test she said the results would take 2 or 3 weeks for that to come back. She also said that she thought the results would come back the same and if they did we would go back to papsmears every 6 months.
I know there are more people out there that have probably delt with this. My husband wants to keep this from going to a CIN 2 or 3. Is this a routine procedure to follow or is there something that can be done???

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
What about warts? Did she find wart lesions ? Has your husband be checked? Did they discuss this with you as well.
Thanks for the advice. It really helped.
i do not take any vitamins. She did not mention wart lessions or finding any. No my husband has not been checked. No my doctor has not really been much help. She does not offer any advice mostly I have found stuff on the Internet so my husband wants me to switch doctors.
I have just gotten back my two abnormal results for a pap with low grade. I am seeing a specialist this saturday for a coloscopy. My doctor told me that my results from my pap, show that i dont have the type of HPV that gives warts. but the specialist will tell me for sure when i go in. but my doctor told me that same as yours, simply that i have to really stay on top of my pap smears. every 6 months or even 4, instead of every year. I dont know if that helps any. Im really new at this, just trying to deal with it myself.
