My lil sis has been very sick lately and she is currently hospitalized. She doesn't share much with us, because she says that she doesn't want to "burden or worry" us. She has been off of her meds for about one month or so now, because they were not working and they are supposed to put her on new meds on July 1th (so she says). She's lost over 15lbs within one week and says that she is in a lot of pain. They aren't giving her antibiotics in the hospital, only meds for nausea, they also took her off of morphine and dilaudid (? spelling), because it was not working. I asked her what they said, and she told me that her body is wasting. What is that? Should I be worried?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
