My Daughter was diagnosed last week with HIV. She initally went to the doctor because she was having some Kidney problems after giving birth to my Grandson. They called her and told her she was HIV positive. She went to the Clinic and had 2 swabs done this morning as did her boyfriend and they all cam back negative. The clinic called her Kidney doctor and what they failed to tell her is that they sent 2 blood tests and one came back positive and one came back negative. Right now they Doctor said to assume she is negative since she has had a total of 3 negative and one positive, but they still waiting for the 2 additional blood tests. Are false positives frequent? I am just now confused now and do not know what to think. Has anyone ever experienced this?
