Recently my cousin's husband passed away from unknown reasons but he has been HIV+ since 1985. His body was wracked by neuropathys and osteoporosis...otherwise his viral load was undetectable and he was making plans for his annual trek to Nepal. His meds were quite pricey (as we all know) and his wife has a small quantity of still sealed meds (Keletra, Vired, and a few others plus Diflucan. Since they had no health insurance that covered the HIV meds, she is swamped by the funeral/estate closing/estate taxes, etc. She wants to know if there are any programs to buy back the still sealed bottles, at a sizable discount. She has considered donating them but badly needs the money at this time. She is computer illiterate so I typically act as a go between for them when it comes to computer issues and email. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
