Hi All,
My name's Nicholas, and I work at DailyStrength.
As you may already know, December 1st is World AIDS Day, and the theme is Leadership.
I'd love to see your ideas for how people can foster leadership in the HIV/AIDS community.
For instance:
What can folks do in their local communities to help people with HIV/AIDS?
What can be done to inspire young people to take an active role in the fight against HIV/AIDS?
Why?
We think our members have important, real-world knowledge, and want to put together a brief article to publish online that is in part based on your anonymous ideas.
Thanks,
Nicholas

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
As point out, the theme is Leadership, over the next year you will all get to know me and my programs pretty well....To beat an infectious disease of epidemic proportions, we must have a prevention program that is as infectious on every level...as the disease itself is. Also needed is the removal of the "personal politics" on every level with heavy emphasis on the area of funding recipients*
In closing, how do you inspire youth to take action? The same way i have just inspired you, with unbridled honesty, raw pertinent information for their level, not the level set by all the politicians ( parental, school, state, city, etc)as I said, this will be the year I show off my leadership skills, and unveil a prevention program that is not only highly successful in schools, its highly successful in communities, so far...on all levels :)You need to teach those in your community that is okay to talk openly/honestly about HIV/AIDS. Lead by Example*
LOL, you just wanna do an interview?...:)~
