I just finished going through the Treatment for Genotype 2 HEP C.6 months of interferon and Ribavirin, no alcohol at all, no sodas, I eat pretty damn healthy.I had my labs done last year in November, that is how I found out I was positive for HEP C. My total Cholesterol # back then was 195 , Triglycerides 117 , LDL 125 , HDL 47 , VLDL 23( what ever that is ) BUT , last Thursday I did another lab and got the results today....Total cholesterol 138 , triglycerides 86 , LDL 94 , HDL 27*** , VLDL 17.... So what the heck..... Now I quit drinking alcohol ( I was a slush before the discovery of HEP C ) no more soft drinks , I eat sensibly for the most part. I have been a lump on a log until 2 weeks ago since the beginning of January when I started Treatment. I am on my second week of walking my 3 miles in the morning. Now I read that 2 drinks a day help the HDL ? Exercise for 30+ minutes a day helps HDL and I am doing this one but , like I said what the heck.Anyone have a clue???? Thanks for any enlightenment at all.....

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
