I got a blood pressure machine from radio shack that goes on your arm just like at the doctors, my prblem is that it gets so tight and it takes about 2 mins for it to release and give a reading. The pain it causes is so intense that my readings are high(I did it three times in different positions just to be sure it wasn't me)I also tried it on my husband and his arm turned purple and fell asleep but his reading was normal. I am suppose to check my BP every day but I cannot stand the pain it causes. Does anyone know if these can be adjusted? And how can they be safe?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
