I had always heard from women that their HS subsided during pregnancy and they had several months of relief. Well, I am 8 months pregnant with my first child and my HS is completely out of control. My entire groin is broken out so badly that it hurts to wear any underwear or pants. I have giant bubble like bumps in the folds where my thighs and groin meet that will not go away. I don't know what to do. I don't want to show it to anyone because it is so disgusting but I am secretly suffering in an immense amount of pain. That, coupled with the anxiety of having to deliver a baby and let so many people in on my "secret" is causing me to become depressed. I plan to talk to my Dr. about it the next time I see him, but as an OB I doubt he will have any options for me and doubt that he is even familiar enough with this condition to help. It is too painful to apply compresses and I am unable to take any kind of medication other than Tylenol. Does anyone have any advice for me to ease the pain? I am a Stage 3 and have been for some time but I have never been broken out this bad in one place before.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
