Hidradenitis Suppurativa Support Group

Hidradenitis suppurativa (hi-drad-uh-NIE-tis sup-yoo-ruh-TIE-vuh) is rare, long-term skin condition that features small, painful lumps under the skin. The disease manifests as clusters of chronic abscesses or boils, sometimes as large as baseballs, that are extremely painful to the touch and may persist for years with occasional to frequent periods of inflammation, culminating in drainage, often leaving open wounds that will not heal.

elevated white blood count

I had surgery today and had 3 cysts removed. One from my leg one from my back and one from my ear. This all being said my doctor informed me I have an elevated white count that they will have to check again in a week. So I was told it was 13;400. They expect it to be high because of HS.

This all being said has anyone ever been told they have an elevated white count all the time due to HS? If you have how high is your count?
