Ok so today I went to WIC appointment for our new baby! I am breast feeding and the nurse tells me that breast milk was used for many things in the past other than just feeding infants. That sparked my interest and when I got home I looked up "breast milk and it's many uses". I learned that breast milk is donated and used for several illnesses in the hospital arena. Not only that but that breast milk is the only way to actually give an immunity boost. So all of that being said I am sitting here thinking, can I use this to help my 15 year old who is not only suffering from HS but is also taking Humira, which lowers the immune system. I know she will not be willing to drink the breast milk and tricking her is not something I want to do but maybe I could first convince her to let me put it on some of her sores and let's do an experiment. We shall see. I think she would be ok with that because she has had her little brother spit up breast milk on her and she wasn't grossed out. She is the only child out of the four that I had that I didn't breast feed. Funny thing is I always kid with her about making up for it. I tell her she can have some now. lol. Really and now I am going to truely present her with this. Hmmmm so what do you all think???????
