Hi all! Hope your doing fine! I see alot of people considering surgery in hopes of getting rid of their HS. This may work temporarily on the spot removed, but remember this is an autoimmune disease. As long as you have an immune system, you will have this. Most autoimmune diseases have no cure. Ex - HS, lupus, graves, MS, rheumetoid arthritis, ext. There are hundreds of them and most have no known cause. I am just reminding people before they may consider surgery. Of course, that is up to you. I have had HS for 40 years now and have never had surgery due to the pain and expense and I would think possibly worse scarring than I have now. I'd like to here others take on this. Wishing all well and pain free days!
