I wanted to share how I finially had a serious discussion with my husband. we dont do that to often. He was lookin alittle upset and I asked him why. then I said he didnt know what it was like.. then he looks at me and says"what does this do to you?".. I was like well , makes me mad, sad, sick, in pain, loosing weight and hair. moody. scared.. I looked at him and he just stared at me, and the look in his eyes, told me, he was going through the same thing".. He has lost weight, some hair, anxiety, mad, sad, worried. all for me. I had no idea it was effecting him this was as he never says anything. I wasnt even thinking about him. what a shit am I. So I guess what I am trying to say is take one moment to look at the one you love and appreciate them for their love and support. Many times they get left out of the picture. it doenst even have to be a husband, wife, girlfriend, It could be mom, aunt, grandpa, cousin, best friend. anyone close to you. they ae going through many of the feelings we are and trying to be strong for us.. I just want to take time to give THEM thanks. To all of them. specially to my Bob...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Keep communicating with your husband, believe me it makes a huge difference.

I totally agree that thanking the people that are here for us while we are on tx is super important. My husband got hurt @ work in 2003 and has been on disability since 2005. He almost died after 5 unsuccessful surgeries and although it was difficult, I stuck by him through it all. Sometimes after working all day and coming home to a dirty house and finding my husband sleeping from the pain he experiences every day, i would get pissed. But boy oh boy, until you walk in someone's shoes, I have learned not to let little things like a dirty house get under my skin. Tx is kicking my butt and I have an idea how my poor guy feels. At least in April I should be done with the meds. Just think of those that live in pain every day. Whoa.......that is deep!! I thank my family all the time for hanging in there with me and when I read other people who have no support from their family, I pray for them and thank the people who made this website. It is a blessing for me anyway!!
