I'm crying now because 6 years ago I found out I had the antibodies, but was told that to find out if I actually had the disease I needed a biopsy. Being financially challenged I couldn't do it. I have a annual bloodwork done at a healthfair. Yesterday I went to the clinic and asked the doctor if he thought everything is okay with the tests or if he could tell from the results of the bloodwork tests. He informed me that if I had the antibodies I had the diease. I guess I should have known when the CDC sent me a letter back then. Now he wants me to start treatment before I get sick. It will take a months to get approved etc.. I'm alone and scared. Will I be able to take care of myself and animals?
