The sides seem to be getting better. The depression seems to be getting worse. I don't understand why? I have money for the meds and I have some good friends even though I have some shitty ones too. I am feeling a little chey tonight as I sometimes do after the shot. I think I will take a nap now. Also congrats on all the folks starting this week that I have read about. DS is a great forum to fume, vent and just get support and love you may not be getting from home. You are in the right place. Good Night my friends.

You should do your shot before bed so you sleep through any side effect. DS is a great place and has helped a lot of us get through some really difficult times. You're not alone here.

You get depressed on tx get some anti depressants from your doctor. I have never taken pills but I did on tx. Was like taking a pain pill.

i do take anti-depress. but i am thinking they need to adjust dosage its like i dont take anything

Most, in fact I dono anyone that hasn't needed some sort of anti depressant cause this medicine really messes with the mind.
It was one of the worst sides for me.
There are places to get the meds you need. Call the pharmacy related to your meds. I forget the right numbers but someone here has some. Check with Mosrite, he know's alot about these things.
I'll look and see if I can find some numbers also.

I was on tx 7 months before I hit the mental wall and went off on my boss at work. Could have been fired so I took 2 1/2 months std. Always been a very positive person and never depressed but the meds were stronger than me and I had to have help. Am 3 months post tx and finally got of the anti d's. Hope you and your doc can find the right balance so you can endure this tx. Congrats on #6. Keep the faith.

I had to switch dr's because mine would NOT let me do tx since I was already on Lexapro for depression.
My new doc wants me to have a psychological evalutation before we start treatment. So,, it must REALLLLLLLY mess with you. and yes, these people ROCK on DS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck and try to get some rest =)

Yes, the mental sx on tx can very hard to deal with. Like you said, you may just need an adjustment. Definitely talk to your doc about it. My a/d dose was raised after starting tx. Hang in there...you're doing great!

Depression is a given on tx. You will experience alot of emotional sides. It's a very tough road to go down. I agree, maybe get your dosage up-ed. As you know........ uping your anti D will also cause a few side effects of it's on, so just walk the walk! Stay Strong........ you can do this!!!!!

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
